Mrs Hoang Thi Loan’s Biography (Mother of President Ho Chi Minh)
Mrs Hoang Thi Loan was born in Hoang Tru village, Chung cu commune (now is Kim Lien commune), Nam Dan district, Nge An province. She was nourished and grown up in a Confucian family, the rich in cultural tradition and revolution coutryside.
In 1883, she married Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, a poor Confucian scholar, an orphan person but had a great will. She gave birth to four children : 1 daughter, 3 sons. She was a diligent, suffering and painstaking woman, whole with family, sense and sentiment with the hometown.
In the end of 1895, she and her husband took two sons to Hué to live. In Hué, she wove to earn money to support the study of he husband, successfulness, raise successful children.
In 10/02/1901, she passed away in the royal capital of Hue. Her body was interred carefully by citizen in Tam Tang Mountain of Ngu Binh Mountain Range, Hue city.
In 1922, her first daughter was Nguyen Thi Thanh, after getting out of French colonial prison, she managed to transfer the bones to bury in garden in Kim Lien village.
In 1942, her second son was Nguyen Sinh Khiem, after getting out of French colonial prison, he tried to find out and realized that Dong Tranh mountain of Dai Hue Mountain Range, where was a favorable place, scenic and sacred, he moved her bones to bury in here.
Mrs Hoang Thi Loan is a typical example for the virtues of Vietnamese women : responsability, appearance, speech, behaviour. She was the mother of giving birth and bringing up many preeminent children, including Great President Ho Chi Minh, the hero of national liberation and world cultural celebrity.
