Baoz Dimsum – Saigon
A very good restaurant, located in the ChoLon district, with many Hong Kong specialties! From starter to dessert, there is really a lot of choice. Varied menu of Dim sum (Hakao, xiu mai…), Peking duck, large varieties of soup, noodles and stir-fried dishes. Drinks and dessert, I’m not even talking about it…:
Bao: These are steamed buns filled with different fillings, such as pork, beef, chicken, vegetables or shrimp.
Hakao: Shrimp dim sum, usually transparent and steamed, with a translucent paste.
Xiu Mai: Small minced meat cakes, often pork, shrimp or chicken, seasoned and wrapped in thin pasta.
Cha siu bao: Steamed buns filled with barbecued pork.
Xiao Long Bao: Small dough baskets filled with hot broth and meat, usually pork. They burst in your mouth when you eat them.
Changfen: Pancake-style rice wraps stuffed with various fillings, such as pork, beef or shrimp.
Cheung Fun: Pancake-style rice rolls filled with different fillings and served with a light soy sauce.
Steamed dishes: In addition to dim sum, Baoz Dimsum can offer other steamed dishes, such as steamed vegetables, fish or chicken.
Sauces: You will also find a variety of sauces, such as soy sauce, chili sauce, garlic sauce, etc., to accompany your dim sum.
